Happy New Year and Welcome Back...

We look forward to a terrific New Year and all the excitement that awaits us in 2012. We are ready for another busy month here at Sunny Hill, let’s make the most of the cold and snow!

Throughout January we will focus on the letters M, N, & O. It’s hard to believe we are half way through the alphabet, which means halfway through the school year. There are many fun activities that go along with our letters. We will start the month off exploring the letter M for Minnesota Winters. We haven’t had the typical winter yet, but I would bet it’s on its way! For the letter N, we will learn all kinds of Nursery Rhymes. Lastly we move onto the letter O for Out West, where we will explore the desert and rodeos.

UPCOMING AT SUNNY HILL

Special Guest: Will Hale Sunny Hill students will be attending a special musical performance with Will Hale. All classes will get to enjoy the wonderful songs as Will performs for us on Thursday & Friday January 12th & 13th, upstairs in the fellowship hall.

Sledding Days: We plan on bringing the children out sledding on Thursday & Friday, January 19th & 20th. Please send all of their outdoor gear and a sled if you’d like. Dates may change due to lack of snow of cold temps. Watch for signs by classroom doors.

Rodeo Days: Time for a little Cowboy and Cowgirl Fun! Dress for our rodeo days, Thursday & Friday January 26th & 27th.

Registration for next year starts soon. Current families will receive their registration materials on Jan. 19th & 20th, 1 week prior to our general mailing. If you would like a brochure sent to a friend or neighbor, please drop their name and address in the tuition box. Thanks for spreading the word, you are our best advertisement!
